FAQ: Re-Installing CoolSpools Version 7

How can I re-install the CoolSpools V7 application? 

Occasionally a site needs to re-install the CoolSpools application, this may occur when the application has not been installed correctly (e.g. by saving and restoring the CoolSpools application library from another server without performing a licensed program install), or has become corrupted in some other way.

A fresh installation of CoolSpools may fail if CoolSpools objects are already present on the server, so the following steps should be followed.  Be warned that any existing CoolSpools configuration (e.g. address lists, style definitions, maps, spool monitor steps and rules) and transaction logs will be lost from the server as a result of this process.

To uninstall CoolSpools Version 7 follow these steps (in this order):

DLTLICPGM LICPGM(7COOLSP) OPTION(4)

If any of the above report that the "product option is not installed" then ignore the message and continue.
